Dalslandspaddling 2017

This is the 10th year I arrange a kayak trip along the coast of Dalsland on the Lake Vänern. We were 12 persons in total and had maybe the best weather yet. Warm but not to hot, windy but not too much and few mosquitoes. Perfect!

We started at Yttre Bodane and paddled 23 km to Storön at Tösse where we spent the night. The camp site is a place with a fire pit, toilets, fire wood and a house where it's allowed to stay indoors if necessary. And it's all for free!
Next day we went back more inshore and after 25 km we were back at Yttre Bodane. A very nice kayaking trip with good friends.

Helgeland 2017

I have not been writing anything on my blog for a long time. Sorry! I have been busy working on my YouTube channel and most of all I have been kayaking. Surprise! At the end of my post there is a link to my YouTube channel where you kan see all my kayaking videos.

Helgeland

This is a district i Northern Norway where the Arctic Circle is passing through. I was leading a group of 10 kayakers for 11 days out on the marvelous waters and among the many islands in the area.

Preparations and travel.

Checking that all gear and food fits in the kayaks

Sven has arrived and all kayaks and gear are loaded.

Moose and caribou are dangers on the road
